In Oetwil an der Limmat, on the outskirts of the canton of Zurich, the project Blickpunkt Limmatdeck is situated on a sunny slope with a southwest exposure.
The four-storey structure rests like a rock in the waves on a steep slope, not far from the bank of the river Limmat. The gently curved and vertically ribbed concrete bands frame the various levels while giving the building a filigree elegance. Bronze-coloured window frames and the wooden decking flooring recall the material and colour language of an exclusive cruise ship. Curved balconies extend from the side of the building and offer a separate private outside space.
Whoever arrives at the new building from Haldenstrasse will be greeted by a spacious plaza and directed to the entrance located inside the building. On the left and right side, the private garage boxes are lined up next to each other. Another entrance to the house is located on the hillside of Limmattalstrasse. All four floors are accessible by lift.
The visual lightness of the structure runs like a red thread through the six condominiums. Pure white, combined with grey bands, meets warm oak parquet flooring and an open kitchen with elegant materials. High-quality finishes guarantee sustainable living quality in the Blickpunkt Limmatdeck. Each apartment has its own washroom and cellar – directly in the apartment or on the first floor. Other adjoining rooms can be acquired as private wellness, sports or hobby rooms.
